Newhaven Heritage is working to preserve, protect and promote the rich heritage of Newhaven. It is also striving to enhance the environment of Newhaven and foster the spirit of Community. To that end, and whilst preparing for the day when we can re-establish the once-popular Newhaven Museum, here are some things that Newhaven Heritage has accomplished the following so far . . .

Newhaven Heritage has exciting plans to further foster interest in the area including celebrating Visit Scotland’s theme for 2020, Coasts and Waters, a Pageant, ‘The Road to the Sea’, in 2021 to mark the closure of the old Victoria School and the beginning of a new chapter for its pupils, developing a world class learning program — The Phoenix Project — with official assistance, and the planning and preparation for a new Heritage Centre.
