CRUISE SHIP ARRIVALS

A Statement from Forth Ports Authority

“Forth Ports is helping our valued cruise line customers as a very difficult time for the industry. We are currently providing safe and suitable river anchorages for two Fred Olsen vessels in the River Forth with a few more vessels expected to arrive soon.

These vessels are our regular callers into the Forth and we are supporting them while their ships are not operational. There are no passengers on board, and there will only be a skeleton crew on board while they are an anchorage. The rest of the crew are being transferred from the ships to Edinburgh Airport to get them home.

The Balmoral and The Black Watch have had no impact from the COVID-19 virus.”

STOP PRESS:  Four Fred Olsen vessels are now at anchor in the Roads of the Firth,

We list below, courtesy of Cruise Forth, the ships anchoring off Newhaven and tendering their passengers ashore during the 2020 Cruise Season.

Please note these calls during the Summer are academic now due to coronavirus but are still listed for interest’s sake.  Later, when things get back to normal,  calls may be subject to change for other operational reasons and prevailing weather and sea conditions.  The list should be used cautiously therefore.  You are advised to check on the Cruise Forth website for confirmation of arrivals.  The pages are always updated as information comes to hand.
